If you are planning on visiting the GBNP Cedar City is not the place to be based out. One would be better served by staying in Ely NV or Elko NV or Fillmore UT. Cedar City is a great jump off point to Navajo Lake Bryce Canyon Kolob Canyon Zion Canyon Brain Head. Cedar City has a lot of low end and a couple of middle of the road lodgings. It is starting to get more national chain dining options but it is still predominately locally owned and operated places for dining.There are lots of great ... More
