Flew to Vancouver from NY, went on the Spirt to Cruise Alaska and after leaving the ship, stayed in Vancouver for another 7 days at the Sheraton Wall Centre. The Hotel was beautiful and right in the middle of everything. We were able to walk around from the hotel to many different areas which you would not see if on a tour bus that zips by. We did take a tour excursion that the Coincerge at the hotel suggested and that tour made many wonderful stops. It was an all day tour, seeing many sights yet not tiring. The Public Market was wonderful. Many items are handmade there and sold by the artisans themselves. There was not one thing we found wrong either on the cruise or in Vancouver. The people in Vancouver are very nice and willing to lend a helping hand. I am in a wheelchair and this is certainly a City that is very accomodating to handicap persons. The only other city I know of that is equally as accomodating is in the states and that is Las Vegas. If you ever want to see a beautiful place.......VIsit Vancouver, you will not regret it!!!!!
