Vienna is a marvelous place to visit...the Vienna Woods tour on a miniture train....seeing a Mozart show in a crystaled ballroom......the open market...the transportation system...the Restaurant Central for coffee and pastries...the Lippanzer horses....the majestic St Stephen's RC Church...that and more gives it a close second only to Paris.... More

I TRAVELED TO VIENNA IN 1998 I ARRIVED LATE APRIL. THE FIRST DAY WAS RATHER CHILLY. THE NEXT 15 DAYS IT WARMED UP AND THE REST OF THE TIME WAS SUNNY AND IN THE 70'S. I TRAVELLED ALONE SO I WAS ABLE TO WALK A GREAT DEAL AND SAW MUCH OF THE CITY. THE OPERA WAS GREAT. THE PLAZA AND PARKS WERE VERY CLEAN AND BUSY. THE OUTDOOR MARKET WAS FRESH AND BUSY. I GOT TO HEAR THE VIENNA BOYS CHOIR. THEY WERE PART OF A WORSHIP SERVICE WHICH MADE IT EVEN MORE SPECIAL. MY HOTEL WAS A THREE STAR BUT IT WAS VERY C... More

4.One of the Classiest Cities in Europe

I have been to Vienna at least 10 times and I would visit again. It has the charm the beauty the architecture and the culture that one seeks on a European vacation. It is one of my favorite destinations. My most recent visit was in May of 2008 and I enjoyed it tremendously despite the low value of the US dollar.... More

5.Culture at its best

I went on a trip to Vienna Munich Berlin and Amsterdam while on break from school in France. Austria is unbelievable. The people are extremely friendly even my cab driver. If you have a chance take the river boat to Bratislava. It's only about 45 minutes from Vienna. I saw a Mozart/Strauss concert and it was by far one of the coolest things I've seen. It was heaven to my ears. I was there in April and it was the best time to go. Beautiful weather flowers blooming few tourists better pric... More

Vienna will forever be one of my favorite European cities. I would reccomend it to anyone who is alive and breathing.
