we spent a day in vina- a big beach town like ft lauderdale; fun and lots of people. we actually liked zapallar about an hour north. much smaller and intimate. vaplpariso next to vina is a real working city but interesting.... More

Visited Vina del Mar in early December. Alot of universities in the area so the place is jumping. Lots to see. Some areas are pretty old with interesting architecture. There's a casino and lots of shops. Farther up the cost are newer homes with great views of the sea.... More

4.It's a good place to chill

Well I lived in chile for about a year I went to viña del mar two or three times. It's an awesome place to go if your in chile already plus valparíso is right next to it aswell but I would'nt plan an entire trip from the states just to go there. The beaches are....um mediocore but the two citys are amaezing. My advice if your in chile make the stop its well worth it but as the center of a vacation.....probably not.... More
