Despite what some say. Virginia Beach is very nice. They have made many improvments to the boardwalk and beach. You will enjoy free entertainment nightly. Plenty of bars and reastruants to chose from. There is our new downtown Virginia Beach area which has very nice shops and reatraunts. We have a water park minutes from the resort strip. The marine science museum that is a great value. We have a safe place for your family with a srong police presence. The trafic can be bad on the strip. But that's the fun of it cruising to meet new people. We are only minutes fron downtown Norfolk. Which has Nauticus, Waterside, U.S.S. Wissconsin and many other places to see. The cleanliness has greatly improved. I've been to many places on the east coast and by far our beach is one of the cleanest. This is a great place to come on vacation. I save my money by enjoying my own beach.
