Nalo is a "local"side of the Island. Respect the people and the land. "Haole" is a state of mind. Take a minute not only to smell the flowers but to watch them grow. Just remember not to worry about the sharks, they are a part of mother earth...good "mana" is the best protector anywhere you are. Best not to eat something that can in turn eat you.... More

Beautiful beaches but loaded wtih man-of-war and they sting! They are everywhere, in the water, on the beach, ouch!! We left and went back to Waikiki, but it was so beautiful in Waimanalo.... More

Tourists should just keep driving right through Waimanalo. Go to Waikiki, go to the North Shore, but please stay away from our beaches in Waimanalo. Didn't you read about the man who was attacked by the tiger shark off Waimanalo Beach? ... More
