In a few words, expensive, rip off, with extra fees for almost everything. Watch out for the waiters who try to shortchange you on your bill.

Went to DC in Aug 08. Spent 3 days....NOT ENOUGH TIME!! It was one of the best vacations our family ever had. Smithsonian's memorial etc....so much to see and do!! The restaurants were great...great town to walk around. We loved and can't wait to go back. Every American must spend some time in DC
