A nice place

The most amazing thing was that the bus driver not only helped me find my hotel, he helped me with my suit case lots to do. museums are generally free in NZ and very interesting. the botonic gardens was great the only problem was the hills--bad for someone terrified of heights! overall ratings shown above. Wellington is probably the world's windiest city; it certainly smells fresh all the time. Only one negative: New Zealand restaurants have unimaginative menus and truly boring meals. Never mind: I almost retired there! ... Read Full Review | Report This

Amazing City, Country and People

Since my son moved to Wellington about three years ago, we have visited NZ twice and are getting ready to visit again. What everyone else has said is so true. Beauty abounds everywhere you look. But the greatest part of NZ is the people. They are incredibly friendly, interesting and helpful. They aren't in a big hurry and that's a very nice quality. The Wonderful World of Down Under

We just returned from a cruise from Brisbane to Auckland. What a wonderful experience. We did not care for Auckland. We loved the South Island of New Zealand. Wellington was fab. Christ Church..what an experience. We spent the day with friends I made on the internet who live there. They took us all over. We spent time at their home. Australia was terrific. We want to go back so we can go to Sdelaide, Perth, and the outback. You better see the Great Barrier Reef. People are destroying ... Read Full Review | Report This

I have traveled to all the major continents and New Zealand is my favorite destination because of the amazing residents . It is like going back to the early 50's in lifestyle and honesty and manners .... they are very polite and courteous . Something you don't find many places now days . ...
