The most amazing thing was that the bus driver not only helped me find my hotel he helped me with my suit caselots to do. museums are generally free in NZ and very interesting.the botonic gardens was greatthe only problem was the hills--bad for someone terrified of heights!I'll go back anytime... More

A great city kinda reminds me of San Francisco. People are very friendly. I've been twice and traveled all over New Zealand but always spend time in Wellington as I have friends in Lower Hutt just across the bay from Wellington (a 15 minute ferry ride)... More

I have traveled to all the major continents and New Zealand is my favorite destination because of the amazing residents . It is like going back to the early 50's in lifestyle and honesty and manners .... they are very polite and courteous . Something you don't find many places now days .... More
