Yet another Swiss Air restaurant, Le Chantilly offers a European atmosphere and delicious, wholesome food. Clocks, pictures and wooden figurines clearly suggest the restaurant's Swiss management. The warmly-lit dining room is tastefully done up in hardwood, while the patio terrace gives diners a refreshing and romantic ambience. The restaurant opens early to offer a delicious Swiss buffet breakfast. If you're still around come noon, the chefs can whip up a hearty salad or crispy pizza. Entrees, including chicken and beef dishes. The house dessert specialty is homemade strawberry yogurt.

  Having been a user of this lovely eating place in Heliopolis for several years while working in Cairo, I can only say the food and decor are fantastic, sitting in the rear patio area with a cool drink it's peaceful cool and relaxed away from the frantic hectic bustle of Cairo, the fresh salads are out of this world and if fresh baked cakes take your fancy you can not do better.
