Brazenhead, Cape Town

Brazenhead is Stellenbosch's one and only Irish bar and restaurant. It operates under the "IPC," the Irish Pub Concept, so one can expect to truly experience Irish culture and fun. The beautiful hardwood floors, outside seating, upper deck, and multiple lounges ensure that there is plenty of space to hang out. Situated just off of the famous Stellenbosch University campus, this venue is definitely a student favorite. With several plasma screens, and a lounge  filled with sofas and comfy leather chairs, groups can come watch all the soccer and rugby matches. In addition to wonderful pints on draught, Brazenhead also serves some of the finest Irish and South African dishes around at affordable prices. Be sure to try the shepherd's pie.
