Pakalolo’s has an amazing location just next to Hout Bay Beach and the famous Chapman’s Peak Road. The entrance features a beautiful beach-style bar with various sections of indoor seating. For a nice outdoor lunch there is also a large, umbrella-covered seating area. Pakalolo’s features a surfer type of vibe and is a popular local destination after a day of large waves in the cold waters of the Atlantic Seaboard. With daily specials such as the 1 kilogram of prawns for R89 or the Sunday Roast for R69, it is no wonder this place packs people in. While Pakalolo’s is featured as a Mexican restaurant and offers Mexican catering, they also serve a variety of other dishes and drinks. -Joel Bronkowski
