Pink Flamingo, Cape Town

The Pink Flamingo is yet another creation by the genius behind the Daddy Longlegs and Granddaddy boutique hotels on Long Street. Situated on top of the Granddaddy, the Pink Flamingo is an open-air movie theater where regular screenings of retro and classic films from yesteryear take place in the evenings. Expect to see anything from Terminator to The Party. The theater is located next to the hotel’s rooftop air stream trailer park, making for fun surrounds. Tickets include complimentary popcorn and a candy cone as well as drinks tickets, which can be used at the rooftop bar during the intermission.
