Terrace Bar & Restaurant, Cape Town

This bar and restaurant is one of Stellenbosch University students' favorite places to party. Located near the Dross and Catwalk on Alexander street just down the street from Stellenbosch University, this fairly large bar and restaurant has quickly become the hot spot for younger university students. The restaurant has seating on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings, though if you do not make it early there will be standing or dancing room only. Terrace offers some of the cheapest specials on drinks in Stellenbosch with R5 shots, R10 beers, and R10 double brandy and cokes. Occasionally, Terrace brings in live bands and DJ’s, otherwise expect the latest hits to be bumping. The food is surprisingly tasty at Terrace with their famous, affordable pizzas.
