This unpretentious Portuguese restaurant adjoins one on the city's most charismatic and interesting bars where you can rub shoulders with some decidedly weird and wonderful regulars. The restaurant serves some good, no-frills seafood prepared with a Portuguese flair. Red tablecloths and tightly packed tables give it a cozy appeal. The large main-courses mean that you can get by without a starter if you are on a tight budget. Desserts are limited to ice-cream and mousses. Be sure to leave your diamonds at home if you wish to drop into the bar for an after-dinner drink as the docks can be rough.
