Overview
Situated about 30 kilometers east of Pretoria, this is where the famous Cullinan diamond, which weighed 3106 carats, was found. Nowadays the mine produces mainly industrial diamonds. Owned by Petra Diamonds, this mine provides some of the purest and most beautiful diamonds in the world. Visitors have the chance to see how diamonds are dug up, cleaned and cut. There are also occasional diamond competitions where a lucky visitor can walk away with a free diamond. No Children under 10.
