Overview
This theater is the home of the Central Experimental Drama Troupe. Often, however, they can also be found at other venues such as the China Youth Theater or at bars around town. Look for the name of the local experimental drama king Meng Jinghui. His recent productions, such as "Rhinoceros in Love” and “Bootleg Faust” have pushed the boundaries of contemporary Chinese experimental drama. Be warned though, a good level of Mandarin Chinese is necessary to understand these performances.
