Dai Jia Cun serves Dai cuisine which tastes more or less Thai, and is replete with spicy, sweet and sour flavors. Dai, being a Chinese minority cuisine from the southwest province of Yunnan, is not very rich and all that sumptuous, but it does have a quality of its own. Barbecued fish, crab, sauerkraut and sour bamboo root shreds are some dishes that this restaurant is popular for. However, duosheng is the one dish that makes this place a rousing Dai-food heaven.
