Overview
The Dongyue Temple is a Taoist temple founded in 1319. However original temple was destroyed and rebuilt in 1698 and 1761. You can enjoy the history and the stunning Taoist religious figurines and artifacts. The Dongyue Temple also has the largest collection of stone tablets in Beijing, including one written in 1329. Today the temple is both a religious building, a school, a museum and a landmark.
