Overview
Discover the geological beginnings of the Earth through Chinese eyes. There are five sections in this large hall dealing with the Earth's creation to present-day mining techniques. Various displays of minerals, stones, precious stones, and fossils all help the visitor to understand what the processes at work under the Earth's crusts. Consisting of rows of gray courtyard homes, this educational museum reveals the history of the development of the Earth; the beginnings of ancient life; China's abundant mineral resources; and a large, dazzling collection of diamonds, jade and other precious stones.
