Golden Siam, Beijing

Golden Siam is located in the basement of the China World Shopping Mall and lives up to everything one might expect from a mall restaurant in terms of quality, decor and service. The interior does little to suggest the theme is Thai, with generic fake greenery arranged throughout the dining area and small African statues lining the windows. The attentiveness of the staff could certainly be improved. The menu, available in English and with pictures, includes Tom Yung Kung soup, fried chicken in leaves, prawns in red curry paste and jellyfish salad. Dishes are very reasonably priced.
