Overview
The Temple of Heaven is a fairly large religious complex where royal families of the Ming and Qing dynasties offered their annual prayers. It has many buildings and structures, Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests being one of them. This prayer hall as the name suggests is the place where Emperors prayed for rich harvests. The entire hall is made of wood sans any nail. While you are in town, do visit this architectural marvel of Beijing.
