Kebab Cafe, Beijing

Touted as a European restaurant, the menu at Kebab's is German influenced, offering solid, warm and filling food, with plenty of stews and fried meats. It also includes Western breakfasts and brunches with pancakes and fried potatoes. Portions are large and decently prepared, and prices reasonable. In the depths of winter the Glühwein and chocolate fondue are unbeatable. The exterior patio is the place to be on warm summer nights, while inside is comfortable, if somewhat cramped. The drinks list has standard beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks and an impressive wine list.
