Overview

Enclosed within a grand stone courtyard, Taihe Dian (also known as The Hall of Supreme Harmony) is the largest wooden hall mounted on a three storied terrace with a height of 6 meter and is decorated with carved balustrades. Amongst the most notable features of the hall includes the roof comprising double eaves and is marked by gilded figure of a prince on chicken being followed by dragons and nine other animals. The number of figures denote the importance of the hall among other palaces' throne halls.
