Whale Inside, Beijing

Whale Inside is probably the most interesting restaurant you will come across in Beijing. Though, it might not be so much so for the food but for the uniqueness of this restaurant. The dining area is set in complete darkness, there's no way you can see your plate or the people you're dining with. Your waiter, equipped with night-vision goggles appears now and then, little more than a floating red dot. Eat here during nights featuring readings of ghost stories. Expect a waiter to start you by grabbing your shoulder at a tense part in the story, it's all in good fun! This is a great place for couples or for a fun dinner out.
