One of China's newest squares, this civic space is one of only three bearing the name Navy in the world, the others being in the US and Britain. It bears some similarity to the city's famous Renmin Square, only that this it is forested with trees. Seventy-one snow pines transported from the Shadong Province give this square a tranquil beauty that makes it a true visual escape from the city. All in all it covers 3,600 square meters and boasts six green belts, a musical fountain, and a massive map of the world constructed of granite tiles.
