At Tan Yu Tou, large red lanterns at the gate greet you into a spacious dining hall that specializes in Sichuan hotpot cuisine. Since hot and spicy constitute the main flavors of Sichuan food, diners can try the potent red soup base in their hotpot for authenticity. The less adventurous can opt for the milder hotpot base. Or you can try both. Accompanying the boiling soup base is an assortment of vegetables, beef and mutton for dipping purposes. The Fish Head Hotpot is highly recommended.
