Baci Italian Restaurant, Shanghai

Owned and managed by Hong Kong's Lan Kwai Fong Restaurant Group, which also runs Cochinchina 1883 and Tokio Joe, Baci is an upscale addition to Shanghai's wining and dining scene. Magnificent garden views, cosmopolitan style, a well-stocked bar and superb Italian cuisine make it an ideal venue for lazy Sunday brunches, business lunches or romantic dinners. The food is delightful and well presented. Try the not-too-tomatoey minestrone soup and the tantalizing Linguini alle Vongole (linguini and clams). The Italian classic, tiramisu, is done the rich and creamy justice it deserves here.
