Overview
Although inside the Yang Tze New World Hotel in Hong Qiao area, this cool bar has managed to make a name all of its own. The Filipino Band, Friction, is said to be the best band in Shanghai, playing good old rock (dating back to the 1970s) nightly in the bar. The interior is dark and comfortable with plenty of chairs, sofas, and low tables. Of course, there is graffiti on the walls.
