The architecture and layout bear a striking resemblance to Beijing's famous Forbidden City, for which it is designed after. The smaller scale palace has 300 rooms and 20 yards and exhibits Manchu, Mongolian and Han architectural styles. Relics abound and include a famous tiger-veined double-edged sword used by Nurhaci.
