Taste of India Restaurant (Yindu Fengwei Canting), Shenyang

Need a little variety to balance out the salty, heavy flavors of Dong Bei cuisine? How about a little curry to mix things up! This curry and tandoori restaurant has patrons walking out filled with chicken tikka masala, vindaloo, and sag paneer gobbled up with Garlic Naan followed by lashings of deliciously sweet chai. Wash down some samosas served with mango and cilantro chutneys paired with a refreshing if yogurt-y mango lassi.  It may not come close to authenticity or even the London variations of comfort curry, but area eaters agree that it is an excellent choice to mix up the palate in these northern climes.
