Overview
Applauded as one of Xiamen's "Eight Major Views," the trail that leads to this cave features dramatic cliffs, ancient temples and expansive banyan trees creating the type of scenery normally only enjoyed by bearded National Geographic photographers. A clay tiger statue guards the cave and the light cast during a full moon allegedly causes the figure to appear as if it is moving. Ostensibly, the cave entrance draws large crowds during full moons, especially during the summer season.
