Brasserie Le Fauchon is a very popular eatery located in the heart of restaurant heavy Elgin Street. The restaurant occupies a small, street-facing spot and has a dimly lit interior adorned with rich furnishings and 15-20 closely packed tables. Brasserie Le Fauchon describes itself as a French restaurant, but in reality its extensive menu offers several Mediterranean dishes like mushroom and truffle risotto and pasta. A selection of steaks and a few token French dishes like French onion soup and duck confit are also available.
