Located on the Central Ferry Pier, the Maritime Museum was organized by Hong Kong's shipping interests to highlight the important role seafaring has played in Hong Kong. The museum's collection includes some rare and beautiful pieces from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The modern gallery includes full-scale models of modern shipping vessels. Special exhibits are regularly held. Along with a museum store and view of Victoria Harbor, this museum makes for an excellent afternoon trip.
