Ganga's, Hong Kong

Ganga's is a basement level Indian eatery that is located within the restaurant row stretch of Wyndham Street. The restaurant, which in its previous incarnation was known as Gunga Din, has been renovated and reopened under a new moniker. Ganga's features a décor that consists of elegant but simple dark wood seating which is punctuated with bursts of color in the form of colored silk throw cushions. The restaurant also features other trimmings like filigreed screens and graceful Indian artwork. As for the food, the menu at Ganga's showcases delightful preparations that hail from all over the subcontinent. Dishes like Tandoori Chicken Tikka, Lamb Madras, Saag Aloo, and Kerala Fish Curry perfectly complement the menu's many rice and Indian bread offerings. -Anjeeta Nayar
