Overview

The group that owns the Istanbul Express chain of restaurants operates three outlets in Hong Kong. The Hart Avenue outpost of Istanbul Express is the chain's flagship shop. This originator sports rudimentary décor that is composed of functional tables and chairs that are packed closely together. However, the tiny kitchen at this small restaurant churns out all the wonderful, quintessentially Turkish fare for which the chain has become famous, like succulent Doner, Adana and Beyti Kebabs, thin-crust Turkish pizzas like Lamachun, and Kofte. -Anjeeta Nayar
