- Venue Description:
Hong Kong University, opened in 1910, is the oldest university in Hong Kong. The chief attraction is the University's Fung Ping Shan Museum, which houses a collection of Chinese art and antiques. In addition, four of the university's buildings are declared monuments because of their exterior architectural styles. These are the Main Building for its Renaissance style; the University Hall for its blend of Tudor and Gothic styles; the Hung Hing Ying Building, which was opened in 1919; and the Tang Chi Ngong Building, which is covered with Shanghai plaster surfacing.
