Overview

Mirador Mansion, like its famed sibling Chungking Mansion, is a renowned commercial cum residential building situated in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. Mirador Mansion, like Chungking Mansion is extremely popular with South Asian and African tourists who visit Hong Kong. The building also served as a location for Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai's cult movie 1994 Chungking Express, and plays host to several small commercial establishments. Located within the building are several South Asian grocery stores, custom-tailoring stores, souvenir stores and outlets of foreign exchange dealers. In addition to these stores, Mirador Mansion also hosts several offices on its upper floors along with the Mirador Hostel, which offers cheap accommodations for backpackers and other budget tourists. - Anjeeta Nayar
