The Globe, Hong Kong

The Globe is a gastro-pub located in the heart of Hong Kong's Soho dining district. The restaurant occupies a fairly large space that is fronted by a deceptively small doorway, and patrons are usually surprised by the size of the restaurant once they enter. The Globe has a distinct English pub-like feel. The décor features a prominent bar, much wood seating and blackboards that announce daily specials. The menu at the Globe accordingly offers pub fare like beer battered cod with French fries, homemade sausages and a variety of hearty pies which are immensely popular with its patrons. -Anjeeta Nayar
