Clear away the glass bead curtains and walk past the bronze firewall to enter Agni (fire). The bar is surrounded by dark wood and is lit with soft lights. The keyword is relaxation. There are low leather divans with golden pillows, a shocking orange wall at the end of the bar, leather tub chairs surrounded by glass tables, and the music is thankfully grown-up. The DJ will play anything as long as it's not techno or kiddie rock. The bar is 35 feet long and the dance floor looks as if it can accommodate a small procession. A lot of thought seems to have gone into the look of the place. The killers are the feisty graphics and the contemporary arrangements. Also, no rich school kids on a night out here, but whoever walks through its door better have some dough. It is housed in the Park.
