Kylin, named after a mythical Chinese unicorn that is supposed to bring luck, is located in the PVR Priya Complex in tony South Delhi. Spread across two levels, that includes alfresco dining options as well, this Oriental lounge has low cushy seating, soft lighting and comfortable decor. Kylin offers an eclectic spread of Far Eastern cuisine. The menu has a smattering of Vietnamese starters, Indonesian nasi goreng, Korean kimchee, Chinese dimsums and of course, Japanese sushi, yakitori and teppanyaki. Starters like Gado-Gado (Indonesian mixed vegetable salad with peanut dressing), Som Tam (Thai salad of raw papaya in lime juice and sweet chilli sauce) and the signature Kylin Lettuce rolls are a must try. Also recommended are the Balinese chilli squid and sushi platters, Vietnamese caramelised prawns and the Kai Sen Udon (stir-fried seafood with oyster sauce and Japanese udon noodles). Kylin is definitely worth a visit.
