Cafe Bamboo, Bali

Cafe Bamboo offers a casual, relaxing spot for evening dining and drinking and boasts commanding ocean views and cool breezes. It features intimate indoor dining and a large expanse of beach in which to soak up a romantic, early evening sunset. Fresh seafood is unsurprisingly its specialty, with grilled mahi-mahi, succulent barbecued prawns, lobster, crab and more. All are presented with a choice of exotic Indonesian marinades or more familiar western-style sauces. There is a creditable selection of grilled chicken steaks, burgers, ribs and pasta along with Balinese stir fries and slow cooked duck and pork. Weekends see live reggae nights with a very capable house band entertaining a large crowd of revelers until the early hours.
