Rendezvous Doux, Bali

Situated opposite the frenetic bustle of Ubud market is this pleasant cafe/book store offering the perfect spot for a leisurely lunch. The dining area is sandwiched between two rows of new and second hand books for sale or exchange. The menu is international with heavy French influences, and there is a good variety of snacks, light main meals and delicious desserts. Tuck in to authentic French Onion soup, wholesome salads, crepes and chunky open sandwiches. Mains feature burgers, pasta and old school favorites like chicken Kiev and lasagne.
