Poste Kitchen and Bar, Jakarta

Seeking inspiration from around the world, Poste serves up an eclectic range of tasty and interesting dishes in a rustic setting. Old travel items are dotted around the restaurant, and colorful paintings along with old photos cover the walls. For the most part, the food is a fusion of Asian and Italian cooking. This yields some interesting results - the salmon steak with beans and chili mint being a good example. Things are equally upbeat on the drinks front. A wide range of drinks, including cocktails, are available at the fully stocked bar. Prices are not cheap but then a gourmet experience never is. Live music gives the place a buzz some evenings.
