Overview
Just over the prefectural border into Shimane are located some of the finest ski areas in the region. Only 90 mins by car or bus from central Hiroshima, Asahi Ten Good Stones is an easily accessible ski park with slopes for everyone from beginners to the advanced skier and snowboarder. A bus will take you from the car park to the equipment rental shop where a range of skis, boards and boots can be rented. A four hour lift pass costs JPY3800, and ski and snowboard lessons are available. Opens daily at 7am.
