One of several such villages in western Japan, the Hiroshima New Zealand Village attempts to create a 'New Zealand' experience for visitors by allowing them contact with free-roaming farm animals. There is a sheep-show complete with farm dogs and native Kiwis, and for lunch you can bet lamb is on the menu. The souvenir shop stocks some kiwi memorabilia and some imported foodstuffs such as honey and kiwifruit sauce. Of course this place is not quite the real thing, but the sheep are real enough, and it is fun for kids!
