For those in the know, Takoyaki's simple recipe of flour, eggs, water and octopus is a delicate process to get it just right. The owner of this restaurant found that this age-old recipe could actually be improved upon by adding soy sauce to the batter before cooking. His idea was brilliant and the new sweet smell wafting out of his kitchen drew in more customers to enjoy this new twist on an old favorite.
