Overview

This is the Osaka branch of the Idemitsu Art Museum in Tokyo. Idemitsu is renowned for its outstanding collections of Japanese and Chinese pottery, Japanese paintings and ukiyo-e, Japanese arts and crafts, as well as Western masterpieces. On display at this museum are two national treasures, 43 important cultural assets and Western masterpieces including paintings by Georges Rouault, Sam Francis and other contemporary artists. Located on the 13th floor of Idemitsu-nagahori Building near Shinsaibashi Station, the museum is accessible on the Midosuji subway line.
