Overview
Located in Yodobashi, the Museum of Oriental Ceramics specializes in mainly Chinese and Korean artifacts. There are about 1,300 items, among them, two items designated by the Japanese Government as national treasures and another 13 as important cultural properties. This museum takes great pride in its world-class collection. About 130 items are usually exhibited at any one time. A large collection of 48 Korean ceramics, which were on long-term loan to the Metropolitan Museum of Arts, is also on display.
