Overview

Situated inside Kodomo no Shiro (National Children's Castle) and with seating for 400, this theater is shaped in an unusual configuration. It stages experimental theater, modern dance, and concerts, especially by performers who have peaked but are no longer at the "top of the tree". On the first floor of the building, there is a restaurant. It is divided into two sections, one that offers Japanese cuisine, the other western dishes. Alcohol is available in both sections and prices for both food and drinks are reasonable. Ticket prices vary according to the performance.
